This Privacy Policy explains how Tavio collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit www.tavio.cloud, purchase a Tavio card, use a Tavio digital profile, contact us, or otherwise interact with Tavio.
By using Tavio services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

Information you provide. When you purchase a Tavio card or use our services, we may collect:

Payment information. Tavio currently accepts payments through UPI only. We may retain information necessary to verify and reconcile a UPI payment, such as payment status, transaction/reference number, order amount, date/time of transaction, and payment confirmation information.
Tavio does not ask for or intentionally collect your UPI PIN, banking password, OTP, or complete bank login credentials.
Never provide these credentials to anyone claiming to represent Tavio.
Automatically collected information. When you visit our Website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, time and date of access, technical logs, and Website interaction information. This information may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Website.
A major feature of Tavio is the ability to create a digital profile linked to your physical NFC card. The information you choose to add may include name, photograph, phone number, email address, company, designation, website, social-media profiles, professional information, and other information supported by Tavio.
You decide what information to add. However, information added to a profile intended for sharing may be visible to anyone who accesses that profile.
Please do not add passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, banking information, government identification numbers, confidential information, or other sensitive information to a publicly accessible Tavio profile.
When someone taps an NFC-enabled Tavio card or scans its QR code, the card may direct them to a digital profile. To provide and secure that profile, our systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, access date and time, referrer information, and technical logs.
Depending on the analytics functionality implemented by Tavio, we may also process aggregated or technical information about profile visits. Tavio does not need to collect the personal identity of every person who scans a card simply to provide access to the profile.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Tavio may process personal information based on your consent, your request to purchase or use a Tavio service, the need to provide a service you requested, legal obligations, security and fraud-prevention requirements, or other lawful grounds permitted by applicable law.
Where processing requires consent, Tavio will provide an appropriate notice and consent mechanism. Where consent is used as the basis for processing, you may withdraw consent subject to applicable law and legitimate technical or legal requirements.
Tavio is specifically designed to make contact information easier to share. If you add information to a Tavio profile for sharing, that information may be accessible to other people. For example, if you publish your phone number on your profile, a person accessing your profile may be able to see that number.
Tavio cannot control how a recipient uses information that you voluntarily make available.
Tavio may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Website functioning, maintain security, remember preferences, understand Website usage, measure performance, and improve user experience.
If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used in circumstances where consent is required, appropriate consent mechanisms will be provided. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
Tavio may use analytics services to understand how visitors use the Website. Analytics may provide information such as pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate geographic location, traffic sources, Website interactions, and performance information.

Tavio does not sell personal information as a business model. We may share information with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Tavio. These may include:
Shipping providers. Information such as your name, address, and phone number may be shared with shipping or courier providers to deliver your order.

Payment/UPI services. Information necessary to verify and reconcile UPI transactions may be processed through the relevant UPI/payment infrastructure.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, digital profile operation, accounting and record keeping, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
If you have a Tavio digital profile and want it deleted or deactivated, contact taviocard@gmail.com. Please provide the information necessary to identify your profile.
We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a deletion request. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute resolution.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request information about processing, access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion where legally available, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, raise a grievance, and exercise other rights provided by applicable law.

Tavio is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

We take reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, and destruction.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your devices, accounts, and login credentials.
The Tavio Website or digital profiles may contain links to third-party websites or services. Tavio does not control those websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
You should review the privacy policy of any third-party website before providing information to it.
We may send communications relating to orders, payments, delivery, account/profile functionality, customer support, and important service changes.
If we send promotional communications, you may opt out using the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting taviocard@gmail.com. Opting out of promotional communications does not necessarily stop essential service communications.
Some technical service providers used by Tavio may process information outside India. Where applicable, Tavio will take reasonable steps required by applicable law in relation to such processing and transfers.
