Our story

A card that keeps pace with you.

Paper business cards were designed for a world where people didn't change jobs, numbers, or titles very often. That world is gone. Careers move faster now, and a card printed today can be out of date before the box arrives.

We started tavio to fix the part of a business card that was always broken: it couldn't change. A physical card should feel just as considered as it always has — the weight in your hand, the design that's unmistakably yours — but what it points to should be able to keep up with you.

So we split the two jobs apart. The card handles the tap. Your profile handles the truth.

What is Tavio?+

Tavio is a smart NFC card that lets you share your contact and professional information with a simple tap. No paper business cards, no typing long phone numbers, and no "Wait, let me find my LinkedIn."

How does Tavio work?+

Just tap your Tavio card on a compatible smartphone and your digital profile opens. From there, people can view your details and save your contact information.

Does the other person need an app?+

Nope. No app. No signup. No download.

Your Tavio profile opens directly in their browser. Because asking someone to download an app just to save your number is a little too much work.

Does Tavio work with all smartphones?+

Tavio works with most modern NFC-enabled smartphones. If NFC isn't available or doesn't cooperate, you can use the QR code to share your profile instead.

We've got a backup plan for phones that like to be difficult.

Can I change my details after getting the card?+

Absolutely. Update your phone number, email, job title, company, social links, or other profile information whenever you want.

Your card stays the same. Your information doesn't have to.

Do I need to charge my Tavio card?+

No. Zero charging. Zero batteries. Zero battery anxiety.

The NFC chip gets the tiny amount of power it needs from the phone when you tap.

What can I share with my Tavio card?+

Just remember: Tavio is a contact card, not a password vault.
